Chasing the Wind

Sailors from fishing and sailing communities around Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique participate in this fun and highly competitive regatta. Steeped in history, the Grenada Sailing Festival Workboat Regatta features exciting races in 'traditional' and 'sport' classes. Boats are built locally, using traditional designs for fishing boats, passed down through the generations.

On Grand Anse Beach there's a great party atmosphere for spectators, with music and food and drinks on sale.
